Job Description
BASIC PURPOSE:
Conduct telephone interviews with respondents on marketing research projects from a specifically designed questionnaire according to project requirements. Follow explicit instructions, supervisor guidance, and Maritz Research's ISO Quality Management System to meet or exceed client expectations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete new employee orientation and training program, including computer training.
- Perform all functions of an interviewer:
- Attend project briefings for an understanding of how to conduct interviews.
- Administer questionnaire as written and record responses verbatim into a computer.
- Follow explicit instructions from the supervisor on each project to ensure quality and consistency.
- Become proficient in administering questionnaires requiring probing and clarifying techniques.
- Maintain a friendly, but professional rapport with respondents.
- Review completed material for errors and incomplete information.
- Maintain the production rate while maintaining quality.
- Demonstrate skills which encourage respondent cooperation.
- Communicate effectively with the supervisor about job issues.
- Adhere to scheduled working hours to achieve client/center goals.
- Understand, implement, and ensure all work is done according to quality procedures.
- Attend quarterly interviewer training review sessions.
