McNemar Test Formula

The McNemar Test is implemented as follows:

Variables input:

n_yn	Number of respondents selecting Option 1 but not Option 2
n_ny	Number of respondents selecting Option 2 but not option 1

Compute the value of Chi-Squared:

The critical value, cv, is determined based on a table of chi-square values, which determines the critical value based on the confidence level at 1 degree of freedom. If the chi-square value is equal to or greater than the critical value, then the result is statistically significant.
