Meet Jim Stone, Ph.D.

What are you currently working on?

As Executive Vice President, I have overall responsibility for the quality and integrity of the research solutions Maritz Research provides for our clients throughout the world.

I have spent a great deal of my time in recent years as the company’s “Chief Tea Leaf Reader”, watching industry and societal trends and designing strategies to ensure we are properly anticipating and preparing for our clients’ needs. In this capacity, I’ve been our internal champion for leading edge developments like data integration and text analysis and had overall responsibility for leading the effort that led to the development of CE3D, our Customer Experience Evolution Framework and for the acquisition of evolve24, our social media aggregation and intelligence business.

What were you doing prior to joining Maritz Research?

Prior to joining Maritz, I worked for Chilton Research Services and the New Jersey Department of Human Services. I’m a former member of the CASRO Board of Directors and am currently on the Executive Committee of the University of Texas – Arlington Masters in Marketing Research program Advisory Board.

What do you like about working at Maritz Research?
